This week has been full of traveling, fun, and excitement!

Let me first say that I never thought in my wildest dreams that I'd be going to the peak of a mountain to help share the gospel and change a life. This week we traveled to two different mountains top communities. One called Las Mesas and the other Las Lajas. They're beautiful communities, which are literaly off the beaten path.

On the mountain in Las Lajas, I helped shared the gospel with a woman who took care of every sick person in the community and the mountain. After asking her a few questions, we found out that she had some sort of Catholic background and that she believed that she would go somewhere when she died. That somewhere was not certain. Patrick and I showed her some verses out of Romans and after explainingn the verses and what they meant, we offered the woman a chance to know where she would go once her life here ended. She accepted! And we began to pray with her and afterwards explained that she needed to follow through with the second half of Romans 10:9 so that she would be saved - that the pray of confession wasn't good enough. It is a heart thing.
